India's refusal to get involved in Tibet as a peaceful nation was being ravaged by a revisionist China resulted in a situation where a peaceful Indo-Tibet border was converted into a hostile Indo-China border. Nehru's refusal to pay heed to Sardar Patel's strategic advice and warning would soon have grave repercussions for India.
